Tate's 2nd Birthday

I told you it was birthday season. Spencer's crazy little buddy, Tate, turned two. It was a water themed party. Swimming, Slip n' Slide, Nemo.... this is Spencer slipping and sliding. Well, Daddy had to slide him down the plastic. James would hold him and Spencer would count " 1-2" and James would say three and slide him down. (He can now count to three!!! a week later.)

Mommy and Spencer enjoying some Nemo birthday cupcakes! They were covered in Swedish Fish. One of my favorite candies, and they were all over the place. Random bowls of Swedish Fish. I had a belly ache when we left.

Natalia's 2nd Birthday

I guess we are officially into "Birthday Season". This was for Natalia's birthday. Yvonne had it at Southern Starz, a gymnastics gym. The kids were able to run, jump, and play to their hearts content (well for 1.5 hours!) This is Spencer and Madelynn on the trampoline.

Madelynn's 2nd Birthday

Happy Birthday, Mimi! Mimi is what Spencer calls Madelynn. The Giddens and Miller celebrated with a "fancy" meatloaf and mashed potato dinner. For dessert I made chocolate cupcakes from scratch. All I could find while baking was the Dutch Processed Cocoa Powder, this is like super dark chocolate. So I used that.....the cupcakes were a little rich, ummm no they were a lot rich. But everyone ate theirs. After cup cakes, Madelynn opened presents. We got her this dress up outfit, she loved it and had to put it on asap.

The Floor Mattress

Saturday evening we headed over to the Strachan's new home (they just moved a couple of weeks ago) for dinner and swimming. When we got there, they had just finished the guest bedroom and there was a full sized mattress in the dining room floor. Spencer and Tate had a blast "jump jump"ing on the mattress. Spencer has to say "jump jump" while he is jumping. They were so cute!

When we were in the process of moving to Fort Myers, James had our old guest bedroom mattress in the floor of the living room. We had just gotten Teddy, so every evening James and Teddy would lay around on the "Floor Mattress." They even watched the Lightening win the Stanley Cup in 2004 from the Floor Mattress.
