Pumpkin Patches

We visited two different patches this season.  We purchased two pumpkins from the first patch and one of the little buggers rotted before we could carve.  Actually we never carved the other, it's auntumn decortion on the stairs.

Big Boy Bed!!!

So, Daddy thought it was time to convert to a big boy bed. Spencer was so excited. We took the front of his crib off. There is a gate on his threshold so, he wouldn't be able to roam about at night. He was sooooo happy. He spent the majority of the morning playing in his room.

He now has his own personal "jump jump". Putting him down for the first nap was okay, but he woke up screaming after about 45 minutes. We think he fell out.

Bed time was good as well. He went right to sleep, no fussing or anything. At around 10pm, James checked on him and found him in the floor! He was out cold.
The next day for nap James put him down and this was a struggle. He did not want to do it at all. I had to run errands and was home in about 1.5 hours. James said that after about an hour fight, he had to put the front back onto the bed. It's a crib again. Spencer has not mentioned it since. I think we will keep it this way until he can get out on his own or he grows too tall for the bed.

Tate's 2nd Birthday

I told you it was birthday season. Spencer's crazy little buddy, Tate, turned two. It was a water themed party. Swimming, Slip n' Slide, Nemo.... this is Spencer slipping and sliding. Well, Daddy had to slide him down the plastic. James would hold him and Spencer would count " 1-2" and James would say three and slide him down. (He can now count to three!!! a week later.)

Mommy and Spencer enjoying some Nemo birthday cupcakes! They were covered in Swedish Fish. One of my favorite candies, and they were all over the place. Random bowls of Swedish Fish. I had a belly ache when we left.

"No pictures please, I'm eating!"

Big Boy Brushing Teeth

After bath time, Spencer brushes his teeth. He pulls the stool over to the sink and hops up to brush and spit. He does such a good job. This evening James put him in a "real" towel, you know one without a hood on it! He looks so much like James, towel up to the boobs!!! Haha! I love them so much!

Papaw Corn

While in Ohio, I discovered that Spencer loves corn on the cob. Here he is eating "Papaw Corn". I'm assuming he calls it that because he ate it with Papaw. After every bite he would make a yummy noise. It was so funny. Oh yeah! Check out the new hair cut!! It took me awhile to get use to it.

New SUV!!!

Well, the Jeep finally dumped on us again. So, we decided to get a "new" SUV. We ended up getting a great deal on a 2006 Toyota Highlander. It's white....I would put up a photo, but I keep getting an internal error...blah!

Puff The Magic Dragon

Puff is currently one of favorite stories to read before bed. For my baby shower, I received the book from a long time family friend and Spencer got his Puff stuffed dragon from a good friend of mine, Sara, for his first birthday. We have to hold Puff read/sing the story. James thought this was the cutest thing, so he got a few shots in.

Paci Free

Everyday after nap Spencer gets a cup of juice and a snack. He loves this little treat. Today he was exceptionally cute. He crawled onto his chair and chowed down. He likes to watch "The Wiggles" while snacking. When he wants to watch his shows, he points to the TV and says "off". He is too funny.

As of today Spence is pacifier free for two days. He was really starting to take the paci out and about. Sunday, he took it on our morning walk and that was the straw that broke the camel's back. He was to only have it at nap and bed time. I knew this day would come. He is handling it pretty well. He has been crying for about 10-20 minutes before actually falling asleep. Oh my

New Bikes

This year we received an income tax return (that hasn't happened since we got married), so we decided to get bicycles. James and I got cruisers and Spencer got a trailer. The little guy loves them. When he points to my bike he says "mama" and does the sign language for mom. He does the same thing for James' bike too. He is just sooooo cute (and smart to boot!). So our maiden voyage was around the neighborhood Saturday evening before dinner. Then on Sunday, we loaded up the car and headed to Lakes Park. We road around the trails and then went to his favorite playground, and then had a scoop of ice cream, and then after a final spin around the park we headed home. James pulls Spencer in the trailer. He says it's like pulling a parachute when the wind blows into our faces.
